Oh the joys of motion tracking Chris’ phone by hand.
We’re developing a new series to shop around to various YouTube channels, and to spruce it up, we’re stylizing the texts and phone messages, hence the motion tracking.
We had a meeting this past Sunday. Brian continued editing a spec pilot for a new series we’re developing to shop around. We already have one company that is very interested in picking it up. We’ve been refraining from giving away executive rights to Postponed because we really believe it’s a story that should be owned by the postponed generation and be told by the postponed generation.
Robby and Chris sat down to discuss season 2. Ian worked on the fundraising video for the Postponed Project, a bigger-picture project we’re working on about being Postponed/Unpostponed.
Robby and Chris also called Justin to discuss possible sponsorship opportunities. Since we’ve been producing Postponed out of our own pockets, we don’t yet have a sustainable monetization model to support more seasons. One route we’re exploring is sponsorships from various companies that are embodiments of the Postponed web series, as well as the Future House spirit.
We’re going to enter a web-based, short comedy video competition and a web-video showcase, so Ian’s sweetening up Episode 4—getting the colors to look better, taking out a few frames here and there to have the pacing flow better, and, overall, taking advantage of being able to do a second pass of the episode.
We decided to go with Episode 4 because for a first time viewer, it immediately conveys Robby and Chris’ dilemma as well as encapsulating a Robby and Chris’ relationship dynamics. A good starting point for a soon-to-be fan.
Chris couldn’t find any industry-related gigs, but still needs the cash flow, so he picked up this office job. Looks like he’s working in a closet or something.
